Some more informations for our puppybuyers:

Please note, that we breed the Original pure Irish Red and White setters, our breedingstock is from Irish and English import.

We follow the strict rules from the ÖKV (Österreichischer Kynologenverband) and the FCI. That gives our puppybuyers the guaranty to get a Top Mc Gillicuddy IRWS, who is breed following the best goals. So all our offsprings will get a map with copies of the pedigrees, health-certificates and pics from their parents.

Our dogs are members of our family, they grow up with our children and are huntingcompagnons from us.  We breed only with dogs with good temperament, excellent appearance and a lot of will to please. Its not so important for us to make a lot of tests with them, really important is the daily life with our dogs. If this is a real pleasure, then you have the right dog.

If the little doggies move to their new families with about 8 weeks,  they are vaccinated, chipped and wormed a few times.  The parents are x-rayed and free from Hip-displasie, also CLAD-free. They will get a good socialisation here with us, a lot of visitors and kids, different noises and situations, little trips with the car and many short walks in the surroundings.

They make their first steps in retrieving wings of pheasants and ducks and  get in contact with wood and hunting.

Our vision is to breed an Irish Red and White Setter which follows the old, original type from Ireland, a powerful strong dog with a nice character.
